"I use a range of Omega products when working on many different types of vehicles. There are various chain driven vehicles that have timing chain wear issues as people don’t replace them every 100,000kms like they do with timing belts. Worn chains are prone to rattle, but after using Omega 909 in these vehicles when servicing it has proven to significantly reduce wear, resulting in a much longer service life.

Some manufacturers’ engines burn oil even when they’re relatively new / low kms and again with the use of Omega 909 Super Engine Oil Additive in these vehicles I have noticed a large reduction in oil usage.

Omega 909 is also great for older vehicles and machinery that is nearing the end of its service life, some worn engines have been known to go for years when using this product, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Omega 909 to anyone that is concerned about the service life of their engines and wants to get the best out of them. Another product I use is Omega 690 Gear Oil this has been revolutionary in many troublesome differentials and gearboxes. I had a ute in my workshop that had done a lot of towing, it had a noticeable whine in the gearbox, after changing the old gear oil out and replacing it with Omega 690 it drastically reduced the noise and it’s still going strong 5 years later."

“We switched over to using Omega products in our pack-house early 2018 after having a discussion with Steve and Brad Malcolm who run the Nelson based Echodale pack-house and have used Omega in there equipment for several years. We use Omega 58 Food Grade Grease in several bearing applications and due to its water resistant properties we use it in bearings that run underwater on our bin dump conveyor. Its fairly early days in using this product but have noticed that the bearings are running a lot quieter and the grease doesn’t squeeze out and lose its consistency like the grease we had used previously.
The other Omega Product that we use is Omega 638 Food Grade maintenance oil, it was quite remarkable watching it run underwater on our conveyor chains and see them come out still clearly lubricated without it washing off and contaminating the water. While we found the price a bit scary initially we could soon see that with the saving in downtime it would reduce our maintenance costs significantly. We used to remove our conveyor chains at the end of the season and leave them soaking in lubricant so that they didn’t rust, this was a difficult time consuming job but now with the use of Omega 638 we can lubricate them, leave them in place and know that they will be protected and ready to start up at the start of a new season.”

​I use a wide range of Omega products on a lot of equipment and have done for the last 20 years. I especially recommend Omega 77 to anyone operating mowers and other machinery that need an extreme pressure grease.
Previously I had to change the mower bearings every winter but after using Omega 77 on the bearings I now get 3-4 years out of them. Using Omega 77 saves me a considerable amount of downtime as well as giving the machinery longer service life and better protection.
One tractor we owned had done 5000hrs and had been on Omega 77 from day 1, the pivots on it were like new, quite unbelievable for the mechanic that checked it over before we traded it in. Another product I use is Omega 636, this is an excellent penetrating, maintenance oil and also a great rust preventative as well, after switching over to Omega lubricants I’ve never looked back.

"I now use Omega 690 gear oil in the gearboxes of our Reach-Arm Mowers. These gearboxes use a 'step up' box that increases the tractor PTO rpm ratio by 1:3 and in some of them 1:4.3.
I’ve found that by using Omega gearbox oil it reduces heat and with the sticky nature of the product it ensures that the bearings and gears are always protected by a film of oil even when starting from cold. I recommend the use of Omega 690 to significantly increase the lifespan and service intervals of any agricultural gearbox."

"I use Omega 77 on the bearings and ram spears on our vibrating cinder block machine. We tried plenty of quality greases but Omega 77 is the only grease that stays on doesn’t drop off or lose its lubrication properties even in extreme pressure, friction and high heat situations like on our cinder block machine. Using Omega 77 is beneficial to us as there is very little wastage and it saves us costly downtime as we don’t have to grease as regularly."
